Ladies benefit from bingo

Over on bclocalnews.com, there’s an interesting article about how ladies benefit from playing bingo games.

At Deka Lake and District Volunteer Fire Department (DLDVFD) Ladies Auxiliary’s (LA) February meeting, bingo cashier Moira Davies presented a cheque to LA vice- president Donna Jarvis. The $2,350 is the proceeds of family bingo games from February 2008 to January 2009.

The LA is holding two family bingos during school spring break, one tonight, March 18, and one March 25. Games are at Deka Fire Hall. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and play starts at 7 p.m.

Each bingo night will have one special door prize, wee Christmas gifts remaining from the cancelled Christmas games, and a progressive bingo game. [continue reading “ladies benefit from bingo”]
